    Segment Two: Bullying, National Origin, Bias, Micro-aggression and the Impact on School Climate and Student Achievement and Behavior

    This section will define types of bullying and harassment and the impact on student achievement and school climate. After viewing didactic material, video-based stories and completing the quiz and reflection prompts, Participants will:

    • Understand the relationship between harassment, bullying, cyberbullying, micro-aggression, marginalization, and discrimination on student achievement, dropout rates
    • Understand the direct relationship between harassment, bullying and discrimination and a negative school climate as it relates to a student’s readiness for learning
